1) Gandhi Peace Prize 2020 has been conferred on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, one of the greatest leaders of our subcontinent. 
👉The award carries an amount of Rs. 1 crore, a citation, a plaque and an exquisite traditional handloom item.
👉Gandhi Peace Prize is an annual award that has been instituted by the Indian government since 1995, the 125th birth anniversary commemoration year of Mahatma Gandhi.

3) Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, Minister of Industries, Government of Bihar, launched the Ethanol Production Promotion Policy 2021 of the state after the approval of the state cabinet.

5) The discovery of a fossil in a Mexican quarry has revealed that a bizarre shark with manta ray-like wings slowly cruised the oceans more than 90 million years ago. Named Aquilolamna milarcae, the shark was unique in being wider than it was long, with a wingspan of 1.9 metres and a body length of about 1.6 metres.

6) The Jharkhand government has launched the “SAAMAR Campaign” which stands for “Strategic Action for Alleviation of Malnutrition and Anaemia Reduction” campaign recently.
👉The campaign was launched to tackle the malnutrition in Jharkhand.

13) The World Happiness Report 2021 has been released by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and Finland was once again crowned as the world's happiest country. 
👉India has been ranked 139 out of 149 countries in the list of UN World Happiness Report 2021.
👉For the third year in a row, Finland is the happiest country in the world, followed by Denmark, Switzerland and Iceland.

14) Arunachal Pradesh launched the ‘Dekho Apna Pradesh’, campaign in an attempt to promote tourism within the state to heal the damage caused to the sector by the COVID-19 pandemic.
👉Chief Minister Pema Khandu flagged off the campaign in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Tourism Minister Nakap Nalo from the DK Convention Centre.
👉'Dekho Apna Pradesh' is a brainchild of Khandu conceptualized in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Dekho Apna Desh' campaign.
