1) The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation of key projects of the oil and gas sector in Tamil Nadu.
👉Prime Minister dedicated to the nation the Ramanathapuram – Thoothukudi natural gas pipeline and Gasoline Desulphurisation Unit at Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, Manali. He also laid the foundation stone of Cauvery Basin Refinery at Nagapattinam.

2) A signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding [MoU] for the construction of the Lalandar [Shatoot] Dam in Afghanistan took place.
👉The project is a part of the New Development Partnership between India and Afghanistan.
👉This is the second major dam being built by India in Afghanistan, after the India- Afghanistan Friendship Dam [Salma Dam], which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister and the President in June 2016.

3) Delhi government has floated nation's biggest tender for EV (electric vehicle) charging, with provision for 500 charging points at 100 locations in Delhi so that EVs can be charged outside homes too.
▪️ Recent News - Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched the 'Switch Delhi' campaign and appealed to the people to join the campaign to promote adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and contribute towards the fight against pollution in Delhi.

7) The Delhi cabinet has approved “Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha” in which Rs 5,000 will be provided to 1,000 meritorious students of Class 9 in schools of Delhi as a science scholarship. The scholarship will provide a boost to science education in secondary classes at the school level.

8) Kerala Feeds Ltd emphasised its presence in the goat feed market by launching a low-cost product as part of the public sector company’s efforts to encourage goat farming in the State.
