1) The scientists of India have indigenously designed and developed a low-cost optical spectrograph that is capable of viewing distant faint celestial objects in a very young universe.

👉The spectrograph can locate sources of faint light from distant quasars and galaxies in a very young universe, regions around supermassive black-holes around the galaxies, and cosmic explosions.

3) AU Small Finance Bank has appointed Sharad Goklani as President & CTO. He will be based out of Jaipur and will report to Ankur Tripathi, CIO of AU Small Finance Bank.


4) The State Bank of India (SBI) has tied up with the US-based bank JP Morgan for using the latter's blockchain technology to speed up overseas transactions. SBI's use of blockchain is expected to reduce the customers' transactions costs and time taken for payments.

5) Jharkhand cabinet has approved a decision to ban hookah bars in the state. It has also approved a decision to make the sale and purchase of tobacco products like cigarettes at public places illegal.

▪️ Recent News :-Ramgarh in Jharkhand has topped the list of aspirational districts ranked by the government think tank Niti Aayog.

👉Ramgarh district is one of the 24 districts in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It was also a military district during the British Regime, referred to then as Ramgahr district


6) The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in consultation with the Ministry of Food Processing Industrieshas finalized the products for One District One Focus Product (ODOFP).

👉The products have been identified from agricultural, horticultural, animal, poultry, milk, fisheries and aquaculture, marine sectors for 728 districts across the country.


7) Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has participated virtually in the First G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meeting under the Italian Presidency to discuss policy actions for transformative and equitable recovery.
