1) The closing ceremony of the joint military exercise between the Indian and U.S. Army, ‘Exercise Yudh Abhyas-20’ was held at Mahajan Field Firing Range.
👉This was the 16th edition of the joint exercise and it began on February 8. The aim of the exercise was to focus on counter terrorism operations under the mandate of the United Nations.
👉The India-US joint military exercise "Yudh Abhyas 20" commenced in Mahajan Field Firing Range of Bikaner district in Rajasthan.

7) Bansi Kaul, a noted Indian theatre director and the founder of Rang Vidushak, a theatre group in Bhopal, has passed away. He was 71. Kaul was honored with the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honor, in 2014, and was also a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1995, among other awards.
8) India’s first dolphin research centre to come up in Patna University this October.

13) Central government launched National Urban Digital Mission' to create a digital infrastructure for cities in the country.
The move will institutionalise a citizen-centric and ecosystem-driven approach to urban governance and service delivery in cities by 2022, and across all cities and towns by 2024.
14) Puducherry launched a campaign to become Covid-free by February 28. A campaign has been launched to ensure there were no COVID-19 cases by this month end in the union territory, where the daily count has fallen to single digits.
👉Under the "Zero Covid by Feb28" campaign, all those who had come into contact with people infected with coronavirus would be identified and provided treatment, so that the further spread of the pathogen could be prevented.
