1) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be honoured with an award by the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF).

👉Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan will felicitate MR Bachan with FIAF Award on march 19 2021.

👉He is first person of Bollywood to get this award .

5) The Central Silk Board (CSB) under the Ministry of Textiles and the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a convergence model for implementation of Agro-forestry in the silk sector under the ongoing Sub-Mission on Agroforestry (SMAF) Scheme.

▪️ Recent News :- Textiles  Minister Smriti Irani has inaugurated the 8th India International Silk Fair on Virtual Portal. The fair is considered to be India’s biggest silk fair, being held under one roof on Indian Silk Export Promotion Council’s virtual platform.

11) The third edition of the Indian Sign Language (ISL) Dictionary will have 10,000 terms of daily use as well as academic, legal, administrative, medical, technical and agricultural terms.

👉Second edition of the dictionary released in 2019 had 6,000 terms and the first edition that was released in 2018 had 3,000 terms.

👉The Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment holds cabinet rank as a member of the Council of Ministers. The current minister is Thawar Chand Gehlot, who is assisted by a Minister of State, Rattan Lal Kataria, Krishan Pal Gujjar and Ramdas Athavale.


12) Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the India-Bangladesh Friendship Bridge (Maitri Setu) over the Feni river at Sabroom in south Tripura. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for eight other infrastructure projects together worth ₹ 3,518 crore.
