1) Government has proposed in the Union Budget 2021-2022 to integrate 1,000 more Mandis with National Agriculture Market, e-NAM platform.

👉The Agriculture Infrastructure Funds would be made available to Agricultural Produce Market Committees for augmenting their infrastructure facilities.

▪️e-NAM :- National Agriculture Market (eNAM) is a pan-India electronic trading portal which networks the existing APMC mandis to create a unified national market for agricultural commodities.


2) Power Finance Corporation  Ltd (PFC) has raised USD 500 million through the issuance of dollar-denominated bonds.

👉This is the longest tenor bond issuance from India since the start of the year.

3) Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has joined hands with Zomato for home delivery of street food in six cities. As a part of Prime Minister Street Vendor 's AtmaNibhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme, the MoHUA entered into MoU with Zomato, to bring street food vendors on its food-tech platform.

4) Google Cloud has appointed Bikram Singh Bedi as managing director for India. The position became vacant when Karan Bajwa was elevated to head the Asia-Pacific operations. Bedi will be responsible for leading Google Cloud's sales and operations teams.

5) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched the 'Switch Delhi' campaign and appealed to the people to join the campaign to promote adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and contribute towards the fight against pollution in Delhi.

6) Founder of Zoho software corp and tech entrepreneur Sridhar Vembu, who was recently conferred with the Padma Shri, has now joined the Advisory Board of National Security led by NSA Ajit Doval. With this, Vembu will be a part of an advisory panel that gives inputs and advice to Doval, who in turn acts as a single point advisor to the Prime Minister.

7) RS Sharma, former chairman of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), has been appointed as the CEO of the National Health Authority  (NHA).

8) Union Education Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ today addressed the inaugural ceremony of the ASEAN India Hackathon.

13) Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari  launched India's first CNG tractor and said that it can help the farmers save over Rs 1 lakh annually on fuel costs.
